Design Wall Monday

I have a new project today. I have been wanting to make a bug bottle quilt for a long time. My friend, Barbara, who owns the local quilt store, gave me a grocery back of bug fabric and two different patterns last year. I cut the fabric up today and have enough to make 8 quilts! I will make a couple myself and get my friends to make the rest. Most of them will go to the Valley of the Moon Children's Home and the San Antonio Childcare Center.
Last night I finished my Ranch Hands 2012 Challenge. Here's a pic, and the back, too. I had extra fabric and made some back art. It's about 42" square. It's also a UFO finish.

Kerstin, love the third jar in the top row with the bees. Way to go in using up fabric. I love an interesting back. A great place to put those orphan blocks! Everyone loves a jar quilt...no matter what novelty fabric you decide to "fill" them with. Sandi
