Design Wall Monday

These blocks came from a photo I saw on Keryn Emerson's blog so I will call them Keryn's Star. There is no pattern so I am using 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" strips sewed together using the stitch-and-flip method. These are 12" blocks and the final quilt will be 5 x 7 blocks.

Love your scrappy blocks! That pattern looks so different with all of the center points the same color to make a star. I've not seen it that way before. What a fun quilt you're going to have.

This looks like a design I've seen before. Perhaps one from Cozy. I like how the white comes to life with all the brights. It makes me smile. Sandi

Nice and bright! I like the paddlewheels--they remind me of the Kitchen Sink quilt from Scrap Basket Surprises by Kim Bracket.

I think it's the Picket Fences pattern from Quiltmaker. But your placement of the white is different. I like the colors you've used.
