In honor of Martin Luther King Jr, I hosted a day of service at my house yesterday. I was joined by Tamara, Tonie and Maura, a new member of our guild. We finished two tops and made five into sandwiches, ready for quilting. I forgot to take pictures, so here's a sneak peek of the quilt I'm making for the guild auction February 3rd.

Tamara's 2009 Block of the Month
This is the first installment of Tamara's BOM for 2009. She started with December 2008 so we would have 13 at the end. This is called Christmas Star and it's from Marcia Hohn's Quilter's Cache website. http://www.quilterscache.com/C/ChristmasStarBlock.html
Here's January 2009, Twisting Star, from the same website.
